Donald is a Christian writer living in Brownsburg, Indiana. He works full time in the federal government as a program assistant. He works with federal programs to assist veterans find and keep meaningful employment. He is also a retired Army veteran after 21 years of service as a musician in the U.S. Army. His children are young adults living on their own. His daughter recently graduated in May 2018 from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He continues to perform music in the Indianapolis, Indiana area with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, and the Indianapolis Municipal Band. He is a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church since 2015. He traveled to England in 2013 on a cultural tour celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of the composer Benjamin Britten with members and guests of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir.
